Animal manure hygienization

Making liquid manure exportable

Animal manure is hygienized to make it export-worthy. By applying heat treatment, bacteria and germs are killed. In this process, the manure is kept at 70°C for an hour. Validation makes it possible to obtain approval whereby the residence time may be shortened and the temperature lowered.

Generating power

The required heat is produced by a woodchip-fired biomass stove. Supply of chips is done automatically from the storage bunker. It is also possible to use an external heat source such as a CHP. Strocon has a large product range for processing waste streams. We are happy to discuss with you to find a solution for your problem. Often techniques are combined to achieve a complete processing.

Effective system

Hygienization taks place in three stainless steel insulated tanks with a capacity of 6,000 liters. Each tank is equipped with a heat exchanger, temperature measurement, weihhing device and mixing system. After the residence time, the remaining energy in the manure is transferred to the next batch (other tank) for preheating.
